YOUR FIRST VISIT
Finding a place to worship in for the first time can be a daunting prospect. At Bristol FPC we welcome you, your family and friends to join with us. Here is what to expect:
The Bible is God's Holy, inspired book and is without error. It is perfectly sufficient for our faith and practice. We believe, preach and study it carefully. At all meetings the readings and preaching are from the Authorised Version of the Holy Scriptures.
Worship is both reverent and traditional. Both meetings on the Lord's Day follow a simple format of praise, prayer, Bible readings and preaching. Both Psalms and hymns from 'Our Own Hymn Book' are sung. The Lord's Table (Communion) is usually observed once a month.
Fellowship is very important to us. Between both meetings there will be opportunity for tea/coffee. Once a month a shared lunch is shared by all who attend. This provides an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better.
Evangelism should be part of every Biblical church. At one of the two services, the Gospel of Christ will be preached. Additionally, we plan in the near future to reach into the community with the good news.
