OUR PASTOR

Rev Patrick Baker was born and grew up in the South East of England. For the first 16 years of his life he had no Christian influence and contact with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord graciously intervened in various ways and through the conversion of family members and evangelism of young people, he came to Christ in 1999.
He began attending a Free Presbyterian Church in Lewes and became actively involved in outreach. He was called to Christian ministry and began his training in the Whitefield College of the Bible (Northern Ireland) from the years 2002-2008. In between this years, he spent two years ministering in South Australia.
Upon completion of studies and licensing by the FPC of Ulster, he and his family moved to Walthamstow, London in 2009. There he assisted in South Grove FPC and a couple of years later, Rev Baker was called by the congregation, ordained and inducted as their minister. He pastored there until 2021 after which he then received a call to Grace FPC, Newtowards, Northern Ireland. The Lord has placed a heavy burden on his heart for the need for Pastors and Evangelists in England. With approval of the FPC of Ulster's Presbytery, he stepped down from his current Pastorate in order to take up the work in Bristol, England. God willing, he plans to move full-time to Bristol in the Summer of 2026. Meanwhile, he preaches twice a month here until the permanent move.
Patrick is married to Naomi and they have four children: Lucy, Zachary, Caleb and Phoebe.
